Apollo music shop Birkenhead, This was the 3rd time in the shop in as many weeks. Owned by brother and sister Jamie and Lindsay with Pete another knowledgeable member of staff. I bought a fantastic guitar from the VAST range they have. After taking it home I found a problem with it and gave them a ring. They were so understanding and pleasant they went over and above to sort my problem out. Fantastic after sale's service. There is always a smile and a welcome when you walk in. The shop is big and a musicians dream, especially if you play the guitar you'll think you're in heaven. With very friendly staff who are professional musicians themselves so understand your needs. I have read the information on the website and agree with everything on it. So with there permission I have copied and pasted on here. By the way I'm just a singer on the club circuit and have nothing to do with the shop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Visited this amazingly stocked shop yesterday as my 12 year old was looking for an electric guitar and amp for Christmas. The lovely owners let him play many guitars (he’d have stayed all day if he could) and were so helpful and patient. He decided on a lovely guitar which he can’t wait to play, we will definitely visit again.

Hard to sum up in a few lines, just how good this music shop is. You really need to experience it! Old school warm and friendly welcome from Jamie, and Lyndsey. Vast stock of instruments and equipment. When making my choice of guitar. Jamie spent a lot of time explaining the differences between models, and allowing me to try as many as I needed to ensure I made the right choice. Never any pressure to buy, just genuine friendly information, and advice. This is a level of customer service that all music shops should aspire to.

Only recently discovered this gem of a music store that took me back years when shops had a decent selection of nice gear! Helpful staff and some great guitars/amps. I bought a guitar and will buy more in the future!! Highly recommended!

I remember Alan the father of Jamie and Lindsey he would be amazed at what they have achieved! I was after a Tim Henson Ibanez acoustic and there was a waiting list for a while, but I looked on their website and they had about one left. So I tried it out and was made up with it. The action was slightly high for me, so Jamie said no problem and it was sorted perfectly. This is such a lovely shop with a nice warm welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for looking after me and you're doing an awesome job!!
